WHY CLIENTS CHOOSE MARK YOUNGELSON & RLY INSURANCE GROUP LLC

More Access. More Experience.
One Trusted Agency.

Insurance isn't one-size-fits-all, and neither is the way I do business. Over 30 years I've built direct relationships with more than 50 markets across home, auto, flood, and umbrella — virtually the entire Florida marketplace. Here's what that actually means for you: your home never gets squeezed into whatever policy I happen to sell. The market competes for your business, and I build the coverage around your risk — not around one company's rate sheet.

For more than 30 years, I've helped Florida families and business owners navigate everything from hurricane season to high-value homes, high-performance cars, and everything in between. That experience has earned the trust of clients across the state, and it's why so many of them send me their friends and family.

Whatever you need — homeowner's, auto, flood, or umbrella — I want to be the only insurance call you'll ever have to make. And because coverage questions don't keep office hours, neither do I: you'll always have 24/7 access to a real person at RLY Insurance Group, day or night.

Thirty years of experience, 50+ markets, a finance background from Merrill Lynch and JPMorgan Chase, and the CPIA designation — all on your side, with one phone call.

EDUCATION

My path to insurance started at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where I graduated with the Class of 1995. Muhlenberg's rigorous, analytical approach to coursework taught me how to break down complex problems and communicate them simply — a skill I use every day translating dense policy language into coverage decisions clients can actually understand.

WHY THE “CPIA” AFTER MY NAME MATTERS TO YOU

Anyone selling insurance in Florida needs a state license. That license proves an agent passed an exam. It doesn't prove they know how to protect you.

The Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) designation is different. It's earned voluntarily through additional professional training focused on what really happens with clients: uncovering the risks people don't realize they have, matching coverage to those risks, and delivering the kind of service that holds up when a claim is filed. And it isn't a one-time certificate. Keeping the CPIA requires ongoing education, so my training stays current as Florida's insurance market changes.

What that means for you:

  • I ask better questions. A policy is only as good as what the agent knew about you when it was written. CPIA training is built around finding the exposures that ordinary quote forms miss.
  • Fewer gaps, fewer surprises. I review your coverage the way a claims adjuster will read it later, so problems get fixed now, not after a storm.
  • Advice, not just a price. With 50+ markets to choose from, the cheapest quote isn't always the right one. My job is to explain the difference in plain English.
  • A commitment you can verify. The designation is a professional standard I chose to meet and keep meeting. Most agents stop at the license.

When you work with RLY Insurance Group, you're not getting a salesperson with a rate sheet. You're getting a credentialed professional who treats your coverage like it's protecting his own family.

A FINANCE CAREER THAT SERVES YOU BETTER

Before insurance became my full-time focus, I spent more than 15 years in finance managerial roles at some of the largest financial institutions in the world, including Merrill Lynch and JPMorgan Chase. That background isn't a footnote — it's a big part of why I approach insurance the way I do. Years spent managing risk, evaluating financial products, and advising clients on protecting what they've built gave me a level of financial fluency that most insurance agents simply don't have. When I look at your policy, I'm not just checking boxes — I'm evaluating it the way a finance professional evaluates any risk: what could go wrong, what it would cost, and how to structure protection that actually holds up.

LIFE OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

Family comes first for me, always. I'm married to my wife, Lisa, and together we have two wonderful children, Ryan and Alexa — the three of them are what all of this hard work is really for. And of course, no introduction to my family would be complete without Coco, our dog and my best friend, who is often the only one in the house who actually listens to me.

When I'm not with my family or helping clients protect what matters most, I'm usually watching New York sports — I bleed Yankees pinstripes, and I follow the Jets, the Knicks, and the Islanders just as closely (whether that's rewarded or not in any given season). I've also become the person friends call for restaurant recommendations, wherever they happen to be; if you need a great meal, I probably have an opinion. And I have a genuine passion for rock 'n' roll — not just the music, but its history, tracing how the genre evolved decade by decade into what we listen to today.

None of that makes me better at finding you the right insurance policy. But it's part of who I am, and it's part of why clients stick around — because at RLY Insurance Group, you're not a policy number. You're working with a real person who happens to genuinely love this business, and who understands what it means to protect the people you love most.
